All dogs are different and accept different steep angles for running up and down.

In the pictures, you see the dog ramp mounted on a ladder that is 230 cm long and extended to the max on a Volvo XC60.

When using the dog ramp, extend the ladder as far as possible to create a flatter angle. The angle you can get on your ladder depends on how tall your car is.
