In September, it is time for the first edition of Overland Adventure Expo in Sundsvall. We at The Roof Tentters will be on site to showcase both our roof tents and smart camping equipment.
At Overland Adventure Expo September 23-24, you will (in addition to climbing up into our roof tents Åreskutan and Lillskutan) be able to test various campers, custom-built vans, test drive adventure motorcycles, and listen to lectures on the Overland theme. The venue for the fair is the area around Northbike. Come, it will be fun!

Among the exhibitors are, among others, Frontrunner and Dometic who have lots of great gear for overlanding and roof tenting. Others on site include Landrover, Kawasaki, Garmin, and Expedition Store Sweden.
Camping opportunities are available directly adjacent to the fair, so why not come in your roof tent or campervan? Free bus transport to and from Sundsvall city center will also be offered.

What does Overlanding mean?
Overlanding is a term that in various ways involves traveling long distances in different types of terrain with your vehicle while being self-sufficient.
The word's origin is connected to the early livestock management in Australia where stockmen drove their cattle over long distances to reach markets on the coast. The trails that were worn became generally known as the first Overlanding Trails. Here you can read a longer explanation of the term Overlanding.
